Self-Pay Fees for Diagnostic Services

A Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer will perform this exam. A Licensed Radiologist will then read the ultrasound scan. A final radiologist report will be sent to your healthcare provider within 24 to 48 hours. OB exams will come with printed black and white photos and gender determination if desired (after 14 weeks).

OB Diagnostic Exams:
1st Trimester Dating Ultrasound $110

  • This exam can be done from 6 to 14 weeks, transvaginal exam is recommended if less than 9 weeks for better detailed evaluation.
  • Measurements of fetus-CRL
  • Fetal heart rate
  • Measurements and images of uterus and ovaries
  • Images of cervix, gestational sac and yolk sac

1st Trimester Nuchal Translucency Exam $135

  • This exam is performed from 11 weeks to 14 weeks and 2 days. It is a genetic screening to check risk of certain birth defects, such as T21 (Down Syndrome), T18 (Edwards’ Syndrome), Turner Syndrome and possible heart defects.
  • Measurements of fetus-CRL
  • Measurements of Nuchal Translucency (fluid between neck and skin)
  • Fetal heart rate
  • Measurements and images of uterus and ovaries
  • Images of cervix, gestational sac, yolk sac, heart, brain, stomach, bladder and extremities

2nd Trimester Fetal Anatomy Exam $235

  • This exam is usually done around 20 weeks. This is a very thorough exam of fetal anatomy, uterus, placenta and amniotic fluid.
  • Measurements of fetus to evaluate size
  • Measurements of fetal brain, nasal bone and orbits
  • Measure amniotic fluid
  • Measure cervix if seen clearly abdominally (transvaginal recommended if cramping or history of pre-term labor-additional $40)
  • Images of uterus, ovaries, placenta location, grade and placental cord-insertion
  • Fetal anatomy: bladder, 3VC, abdominal cord insertion, kidneys, stomach, diaphragm, spine, multiple heart views with blood flow, nose/lips, lower extremities and upper extremities

3rd Trimester Fetal Growth-estimated fetal weight $125

  • This exam is usually done from 28-34 weeks to check fetal size, AFI, fetal position and placenta before the big arrival
  • Measurements of fetus size to evaluate size
  • Measurement of amniotic fluid
  • Images of cervix, placenta location, grade, placental cord insertion and right and left ovaries
  • Fetal anatomy: stomach, kidneys, bladder, 4-chamber heart, face and profile

Limited Ultrasound $65

  • This exam is to check fetal position, AFI, placenta location, placenta grade and fetal heart rate
  • Add a BPP (biophysical profile) or umbilical artery doppler to this limited exam for $10

Cervical Screen $65

  • Transvaginal exam to rule out signs of pre-term labor and placenta previa
  • Measurements of cervix, FHT’S, AFI and placenta location

  • This exam is performed abdominally or transvaginally if a clearer detailed evaluation is needed
  • Measurements and images of uterus, ovaries and endometrium

  • This exam is performed to evaluate liver, right kidney, gallbladder, bile ducts and abdominal aorta
